Metalcam opens office in China

Following the process of expansion of the company, Metalcam has opened a new office in Beijing to promote the Fikus line of products in China

We are very pleased to announce the opening of our new office in China. It is located in the Chaoyang district, Capital Mansión Building, Office 1906, No.6 XinYuanNan Rd., Beijing, P.R. of China. From this new site, Metalcam seeks to give a closer and more direct support to the chinese customers and promote the Fikus products in this huge and growing country.
The opening of this new office is the answer to the continuous growing that the chinese market has been reporting during the last years, specially in the mold, die, and production sectors. Following this tendence, many companies from all the major industrilized countries han begun to focus a large measure of its market strategy to this region. The new office will be managed by Mrs. Yun Huiling, Mechanical Engineer, who brings a huge knowledge of Fikus, specially in the WireEDM technology, and, what is more important, a lot of enthusiam and implication in this new project.

Coinciding with the opening of the new office, we have signed an agreement with ACTSpark, a leader builder of electrical discharge machines (EDM) and subsidary of the market leader +GF+ AgieCharmilles group, for the inclusion of a license of Fikus Visualcam with each purchase of a new machine of the FW series.
On the other side, we signed a distribution agreement with Beijing Agie Charmilles Technology & Service Ltd. This chinese company will distribute, sell and support Fikus Visualcam in the Beijing - Tianjin area.

The opening of this new office in Beijing represents a big satisfaction for us because it will allow us to give a better service to the present and new customers of Metalcam in China. The new site will also place us closer to the Asian-Pacific strategic area and will serve us as a platform in our internationalization process.
We also wish that the new experience will also mean an improvement for Fikus Visualcam and the quality of the technical support that we are offering today. And, of course, don't hesitate to visit us if you are coming to Beijing, either for pleasure or for business.!
