+GF+ AgieCharmilles, the leader builder of electrical discharge machines (EDM) will include the new AC Cam Easy based on Fikus Visualcam for WireEDM in the CNC of the CUT20P / CUT30P machines.

Continuing the long relation between both companies, Metalcam and +GF+ AgieCharmilles have signed an agreement to include a license of the new CAM software AC CAM Easy, which is based on Fikus Visualcam for WireEDM, directly on the CNC of the new CUT20P / CUT30P machines.

Built following the requirements and specific needs of +GF+ AgieCharmilles for these new machines, Metalcam has developed a new version of its flagship product Fikus Visualcam for WireEDM that, with the name AC CAM Easy will be included in every machine of the CUT20P / CUT30P series.

AC CAM Easy has been thus specially thought for the CUT20P and CUT30P machines and handles the technologic databases of them and a new Wizard that eases the machine programming. Very easy to use and learn, increases the quality and reduces programming time.

"The integration of AC CAM Easy in the new CUT20P and CUT30P WireEDM machines gives the possibility to execute a complete job without any external application. AC CAM Easy includes CAD capabilities, 2X-cutting with conic features, collar wizard for the die makers industry, simulation and G-Code editor. As an option, it also includes no-core-cut processes, gear design, 3D data translators and text capabilities. The dedicated postprocessor is certified by +GF+ AgieCharmilles. AC CAM Easy is fully compatible with Fikus Visualcam, Fikus Fastwire and AC Geo files.
