What's new in the Tool Table in the version 16 of Fikus Visualcam

Here is the list of the major developments in the tool table for lathe and milling in Fikus Visualcam 16.

Tool data for machine and stock material

In the Fikus Visualcam 16 Tool Table for milling and / or lathe machining, it is now possible to define machines and materials. With a machine and material, we can create a "Configuration" and within a "Configuration" we can choose whether we want a tool to be available or not and to modify its standard technological data: position of the charger, feed, rpm, ...

When we create a toolpath for milling, lathe, or lathe-mill machine, we can now select the machine and the stock material. When we apply a process and select a tool, the tool data will be those we have defined in the Configuration.
