Metalcam exhibits at EASTPO 2010, Shanghai, China

From July 15-18, the 12th International Machine Tool Fair (EASTPO 2010) took place in Shanghai, PR China. EASTPO is one of the most important machine tool fairs in Asia, focusing on providing metalworking solutions for the Manu-facturing industry. The show attracted more than 120,000 visitors and more than 1,000 exhibitors.

On its own booth at the EASTPO show (see photo), Metalcam showed the new version 16 of Fikus Visualcam. Specialists from the Metalcam office in Bejing demonstrated all aspects of productive CNC Programming for WireEDM, Lathe, Milling and Mill-Turn applications. Metalcam´s Bejing office has been established two years ago to respond to the growing demands of the Chinese manufacturing industry for highly productive shop floor solutions. Yun Huiling, Manager of the Bejing office, states: "Since we opened the Bejing office two years ago we serve an increasing number of customers that have to cut molds, dies and production parts. We offer Sales and Support not only for the P.R. of China, but also for other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The success of this years EASTPO show emphazises the growth potential, we see in our region."
