Fikus Visualcam is provided with a programming assistant, QuickWire, and developed and tested together with the machine manufacturer, so that no setup is needed. Just postprocess and get the G-Code ready to use on the machine.

The main benefits that Fikus brings to the user of a new Cut20 machine:
- Reduce programming time and efforts using the Quickwire and the logical step-by-step process of producing the needed cuts.
- Ease geometry construction and part definition using the powerful CAD functions included
- Generate the programs on the computer using the same technology tables as in the machine
- Take profit of the most advanced toolpath calculation algorithms for 2X and 4X cuts.
Only 4 steps are needed to complete the process of programming the machine:
Just create the technological TEC file on the machine. A dedicated function on the Fikus Quick Wire assistant will read the TEC file and get the exact cutting conditions to completely reproduce the machining cutting parameters like wire type, wire diameter, number of cuts and wire offsets.
Visualize and check the offset values and compensation and cutting conditions registers for each cut.
Define a remnant value, if needed, and Fikus will propose the best strategy to cut the part according to the total number of cuts and part type (punch/die). The cutting sequence will optimize the number of wire cuts and thread combining the directions of each process automatically.

Define the main cutting direction and other parameters to completely fit your preferences to work. The values will be kept for future jobs.

Technological parameters |
Once this step is done, Fikus will automatically create the processes (fully editable by the user).
Just calculate and postprocess and send the g-code to the AgieCharmilles CUT machine.

Automatic geometry correction
One of the main benefits of Fikus is that will prevent for undercuts on arcs smaller than the wire offset automatically (gouge check function). Also, the postprocessor will automatically create a header on the ISO file with the offset values for each cut so no modifications and editing will be necessary at machine level.
